Yoga has the capacity to connect us to our bodies, hearts, minds and spirits and the wisdom held deeply within. When we practice feeling the sensations in our bodies and making decisions related to those sensations, we re-establish a sense of trust in ourselves. I teach from a trauma sensitive perspective with the ultimate goal of empowering you.
In each session you are invited to explore gentle movement, breath awareness and meditation. I consider the needs of the individual body, mind and spirit, whether in a group class or an individual session. You are genuinely encouraged to make the practice your own and to tune into your bodies' wisdom. We will work together to heal and soothe your nervous system and align your breath, body and spirit.
