Sometimes I feel like I can meet the challenges in my life with flexibility, humour and compassion, holding myself gently as I navigate them. There are more of these times as I continue to grow and explore the practices that nourish and nurture me. And yet, with all the support, knowledge and practices I have within and without, there are other times when I struggle, judge and criticise myself and get bowled over by what life throws my way. I am proud to say I recover more quickly from being bowled over and yet, it still happens.
Trauma adds an extra level of difficulty to remaining resilient in the face of life's demands. It has been defined as anything that was too much, too soon and too fast for us to integrate. We can't always traverse the integration process on our own. Could you use some help and support with facing your challenges and integrating your trauma? I would love to be of service. My next trauma sensitive online yoga and meditation course, Yoga for Resilience, starts Tuesday, 9 February at 10:00am Sydney time. Together we will be exploring themes, gentle movement and meditations that support and encourage adaptability to the stressors of life and trauma. If the live time suits, great, I would love to have you there for the live course. If you can't make the live time, I also record the class and so you are welcome to "attend" that way. The $95AUD investment in this six week course includes the live classes, video recordings of the classes, audio recordings of the final meditations and six emails packed with supporting resources from my favourite sources. If you would like more support than a group online class, I also offer one-to-one sessions, with a buy three get one free deal. I am passionate about being an ally for your healing and well-being. Please let me know if I may be of service.
